Delhi University has published a modified academic calendar for the 2019-2020 session. The University, which would have dispersed semester classes in April, has now pushed the date back to May. The modified calendar is presented prior to UGC's decision on college exams and the new academic calendar.

Delhi University had scheduled to disperse classes for the current semester including April 28, 2020. However, with the lockdown hindering classes, the University has modified its schedule for the current session and will now disperse classes on May 15, 2020.

"In view of the unprecedented situation prevailing in the world that led to the closure of the country until 03.05.2020, the University of Delhi has partially modified the 2019-2020 Academic Calendar," says a notice on the University website .

UGC has yet to make a decision about taking the college exams and the schedule for the next academic session.
